  • How can I schedule an appointment?

    You can schedule an appointment by contacting us via phone, email, or through our website’s online booking system.

  • How do I cancel a cash based booked appointment?

    Serious appointments only. All sales are final and booked appointments are not refunded. 


    When you cancel your appointment, you make rebook and reschedule through our calendar at no additional charge.

  • How do I cancel an appointment within 24 hrs?

    Simply go to your calendy confirmation appointment link that was sent via email or text and select cancel and reschedule. There is an $80 charge for appointments that are not canceled prior to your appointment within a 24hr timeframe. 

  • Do you accept insurance?

    We accept various insurance plans including:

  • Are laboratories covered by insurance?

    At Aurora Functional Healthcare we do our best to help you save money. If your insurance provider covers conventional range test, we do not require you to pay for tests that are covered by your insurance. Our Functional Laboratory tests are not covered by insurance. Hence, this is an out-of-pocket expense. We accept FSA/HSA cards helping reduce cost.

  • Are supplements covered by insurance?

    No.

  • Do you accept cash assignments?

    We accept all major credit/debit cards. Payment will be due before each visit and your credit/debit card on file will be charged.

  • Are all of your services covered by insurance?

    Some services are covered by insurance while others aren't.

  • Do I have a insurance co-pay?

    We will check your eligibility to determine whether you will have a copay or not. Copay coverage depends on your insurance policy. Copay is due before each visit.

  • How can I afford your healthcare plans?

    Denefits Program

    We have income driven repayment plans through Denefits monthly installment cash pay. This luxury makes healthcare affordable to everyone no matter your income or credit history. Great for individuals with Poor or Fair Credit.



    Advanced Care Credit Program


    Excellent Credit

    730 and above interest free for 18 months


    Good credit

    640 and above interest free for 15 months


    Fair credit

    600-640 interest free for 6 months


    During interest free period:

    Minimum payment of 2% of the open balance is due.

    Minimum gross monthly requirement for all individuals in household:

    $1,500.00

    This is a revolving line of credit. Not term loan. Making on time payments may boost credit score

  • Are out of network nutrition professionals covered by insurance?

    Coverage for out-of-network nutrition professionals depends on your insurance plan. Some plans offer out-of-network benefits, which means they may partially cover the cost of services provided by nutrition professionals not within their network. However, reimbursement rates are typically lower than for in-network providers, and you may be responsible for a higher percentage of the cost or a larger co-pay.



    It is crucial to review your insurance policy and consult with your insurance provider to understand the specific details of out-of-network coverage for nutrition services, as well as any associated restrictions or limitations. In general, Medicare PPO plans offer better coverage for out-of-network care than HMO plans, but this is not always the case.

  • What is your payment policy for cash based visits?

    Payment is due prior to your appointment for both tele-health and in person visits. Due to high quality of service given. All sales are final. You will have an option to rebook at your convenience within all USA states. Due to high patient volume, this gives the practitioner enough time to prepare for your visit and review healthcare documents and secure your seat. In an efforts to dispute your booked appointment with your credit credit card provider after you have consulted with the practitioner you will not be granted a refund. As we do not encourage theft in our facility as this is a criminal act and will be reported to the local police department. Any questions you may have give us a call prior to booking your appointment. A representative will address your questions and concerns.
